The Old Grindstone welcomes children under 18 when accompanied by a supervising adult until 8pm. Speak to a staff member about which food items are available for smaller appetites.

We’d always encourage you to opt for one of our party packages. It ensures you have cold drinks upon your arrival and it’ll help you avoid a potentially busy bar as much as possible when we both know you’d rather be attempting ‘Rapper’s Delight’

Your Pledge card is not valid for karaoke bookings. Instead, we opted to make our karaoke the cheapest in town for everyone!

Yes. There is wheelchair access from the beer garden up to our main bar and tap area.

We have our own student Rewards card called Pledge. Get our Pledge card online or at the bar for a one-off fee of £4 and redeem a host of fantastic offers.

We also host Pledge Tuesdays at The Old Grindstone. Alongside the 20% discount, on Wednesdays we offer 2-4-1 on all drinks from 5pm! It’s definitely worth the £4 sign-up!  

Members of the Pledge Student Card receive 20% off all day, every day, in five venues. Participating venues also include The Common Room, The Punch Bowl and Forum Kitchen + Bar.

In addition to the exclusive offers, your Pledge student card doubles up as a True North Reward Card allowing you to collect points in any of our True North Venues. You will receive 3% of everything you spend back onto your card, plus lots of exclusive offers throughout the year.

We do not have any on-site parking at The Old Grindstone. There are plenty of parking spaces on nearby streets. Please visit Sheffield City Council’s website for more information.

Yes. You can use our Wi-Fi for free. Ask a member of staff.

Yes. We have multiple 55” and 65-inch 4k TVs, and a large projector showing all the best live sports.

We take bookings for selected matches and sporting events – get in touch with us directly to see if you can book a table for the particular fixture, you’re interested in.

Grab your card from any of our bars or sign up here to activate your Rewards account.

Members of our Rewards scheme will receive 3% of everything you spend back onto your card to use within our venues, a gift on your birthday, and exclusive offers throughout the year.

When you make a purchase in one of our venues, please hand over your Reward Card for your server to scan. If you do not have your card on you at the time you can add your points using the code on your receipt. To do this, go to your online reward account, click ‘Redeem Code’ and enter the code as it appears on the bottom of the receipt.

Gift cards can be used to purchase goods and services in venue.
